CHALLENGE

Balance energy and stillness — technology and humanity

B.A.R. stands for Body at Rest needed a visual identity, its meaning is rooted in the owner’s remarkable journey. She began by working at a bar to put herself through college. She later passed the bar exam and became a corporate defense attorney. Yet her journey didn’t end there. Drawn toward healing and wellness, she returned to school to become a Rolfer—ultimately inspiring her to open a float spa called The BAR: (The Body at Rest) Float Spa in Venice, Florida.

APPROACH

Build from the inside out — sanctuary first, system second

When the client approached me, she knew she wanted to build a meaningful brand but wasn’t sure where to begin. Once I heard her story; where she started, how she evolved, and what she hoped to create—the direction became clear.

This brand would represent more than relaxation but restoration, mindfulness, and transformation: a place where ambition gives way to stillness, and where both the body and mind are finally invited to rest during the experience.
